Rosie O'Donnell Calls Out Trump In Outrageous Fashion On Social Media

There are many folks out there that don’t particularly care for President Donald Trump, but Rosie O’Donnell may very well be at the top of the list on that front. The former talk show host spends an inordinate amount of time bashing Trump on social media, and she seems to be quite angry at him in general.

For context, Trump has made some very public and crude comments in regards to O’Donnell, and that obviously hasn’t helped to soothe the star’s angst with him.

O’Donnell was at it again, but she really ratcheted things up this time around. In fact, there are scores of observers out there that feel she really crossed the line with her latest salvo.

O’Donnell was responding to a social media post from Trump, who was offering up his thoughts on NBC’s decision to fire Matt Lauer in the wake of sexual harassment allegations. For unclear reasons, Trump felt the need to stir the pot even more.

“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” Trump wrote.

Trump is not a big fan of NBC’s coverage of him, so there is that - but there’s no excuse for the President of the United States to be wasting time on silly feuds. Regardless, O’Donnell was inspired to respond, and she decided to hash out her own unsubstantiated piece of gossip to fan the flames even further.

As Newsweek shares, O’Donnell would superimpose the phrase ‘Child rapist’ over Trump’s post, and she would include the caption ‘glass houses’ and the hashtag ‘#trumprapes.” It’s unclear exactly what O’Donnell is referring to, but speculation has centered on a lawsuit that was filed by a woman only identified as ‘Jane Doe’ last year.

The woman claimed she was raped by Trump and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein when she was 13-years-old.

"Immediately following this rape Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed," the suit read in part.

The suit was dropped prior to the election, and the woman’s attorney claimed it was because her client became frightened after receiving death threats.

“Jane Doe instructed us to dismiss her lawsuit against Trump and Epstein today. Tough week for her. We wish her well,” attorney Lisa Bloom wrote on social media. “Every woman makes her own choice about what is best for her. Life’s a journey. Most of us get stronger as we get older. I respect women.”

Trump completely denied the allegation, which came in the midst of a number of other sexual harassment claims against the then-candidate. He denied all of the other claims as well. The matter has essentially faded away, but that hasn’t stopped Trump critics from bringing them up quite often.
