Romney: People Want A Change From The Clinton Establishment

Former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-Mass.) said that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was "a creature of Washington."

He also told host Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday," that "People want to see change and Hillary Clinton is not that person. You see in the polls the feeling that Hillary Clinton is just not that trustworthy. People remember with the Clintons that it’s always something. The Clinton-Obama foreign policy has been a bust. The world is not safer."

Romney also added that there is "a good crowd of people" in the 2016 presidential field but the lack of competition on the Democratic side could hurt the next election cycle. Romney shared, “We have the advantage of having an exciting debate on the primary side. Compared to the Democratic side, it looks quiet over there.”

In January, Romney declared that he would not run for president a third time. He made two unsuccessful attempts at the Oval Office in 2008 and 2012. Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul have publicly declared their presidential candidacy. It is also rumored that Sen. Marco Rubio will announce his own bid on Monday in Miami. On the Democratic side, Govs. Martin O’Malley (Md.) and Jim Webb (Va.) have expressed interest- so has Bernie Sanders.
