Romney Hints At What He Will Do On Election Day

As it stands now, it looks like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will go head-to-head for the White House in the 2016 election. That's a shame for Mitt Romney, because the former presidential candidate says he won't vote for either of them.

"I wish we had better choices, and I keep hoping that somehow things will get better, and I just don’t see an easy answer from where we are now,” Romney told The Washington Examiner. "I see way too much demagoguery and populism on both sides of the aisle, and I only hope and aspire we’ll see more greatness."

Even though Romney is dissatisfied with the choices that the two major parties are presenting to voters, he says he has no intention of trying to shake things up by launching an independent campaign. He only hopes at this point a new, better alternative will show up before it's too late.

“I don’t know what happens when you elect somebody to the White House on what they’ll do as opposed to what they’re saying, but I certainly think this is a critical time for freedom, a critical time for America,” he said. The former governor is so unenthused by Trump, he's even planning on skipping the Republican National Convention in July.

I think a lot of people feel the same way Romney does.
