Powerhouse Republican Group Says Jeb Bush Is 'Unelectable'

While many consider former Florida governor Jeb Bush a formidable candidate should he run in the 2016 presidential race, a prominent conservative group begs to differ. They actually labeled Jeb Bush as "unelectable," which might show a bit of a divide within the party.

The group, ForAmerica, was founded by Brent Bozell. He is the former chair of the Parents Television Council and popular Republican advocate in Washington, D.C. On February 18, ForAmerica released a Sept. 10, 2013 video that shows Bush sharing a stage with potential 2016 presidential Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton. In the video, Bush hands Clinton an award for her "public service" throughout her over 20-year career in politics.

What makes ForAmerica most ticked off about it is the fact that the award was presented just one day before the one year anniversary of the terror attacks in Benghazi, Libya. These attacks took place when Clinton was U.S. Secretary. Bush is also receiving criticism from his own party based upon his immigration views and support of Common Core, which President Obama and many other Democrats support. Bozell issued a statement saying, “As it stands, Jeb has absolutely no credibility to criticize (Clinton) because he has already anointed her as a great public servant; and he inexplicably did so almost a year to the day of the Benghazi massacre.” Moreover, a new CBS poll shows that Republican voters would support Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker more than they would Jeb Bush. Walker received much acclaim during his time in office for passing $19 million in tax cuts.
