Palin Encourages Trump To Part Ways With The United Nations

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate, has never been one to be shy about expressing her opinions and advice, and she just dropped some words of wisdom for President-elect Donald Trump.

As Newsmax shares, Palin was a guest on the Breitbart News Daily radio show, and the topic turned to the recent United Nations vote for a resolution that impacted Israel. Trump has criticized the vote on Twitter, and Palin’s not a big fan of it either.

"I think many of us have called for America to really step up and consider what it is that we are funding and supporting via the U.N., and how it works so hard really against U.S. interests, and just saying – look what the U.K. just did," Palin said, in reference to Brexit.

She went on to explain that it’s time for the US to part ways with the United Nations, and she’s calling on Trump to be the man to make it happen.

"So I call upon President-elect Trump to lead that charge. But the other way to look at this is, is it really going to be one person, one leader's responsibility to do so? Or is this going to be part of the revolution that we have just seen, that did elect Trump?" she continued.
