O'Reilly Reboots Podcast, Hints At Much Deeper Scandal What Got Him Fired From Fox

After being fired from Fox News, Bill O'Reilly rebooted his podcast on Monday night. The long-time number one talk show host who has fallen from grace continues to maintain his innocence, but he's not going into details right now.

O'Reilly was fired last week after news broke that the host of 'The O'Reilly Factor' had been accused of sexually harassing at least five women. O'Reilly and Fox News settled some $13 million suits quietly. Once news broke, viewers began dropping and advertisers began fleeing in droves. Fox at first stood by O'Reilly, but by the end of the week fired him.

O'Reilly is using his podcast, 'No Spin News', to remain in the public eye and continue his work. He hopes it will become a 'genuine news program'.

"I am sad that I'm not on television anymore. I was very surprised how it all turned out. I can’t say a lot, because there’s much stuff going on right now," O'Reilly said after rebooting his podcast. "But I can tell you that I'm very confident the truth will come out, and when it does, I don’t know if you're going to be surprised - but I think you're going to be shaken, as I am. There’s a lot of stuff involved here."

O'Reilly says he doesn't want to discuss the topic too much because he doesn't want the media to 'misconstrue' his side of the story. "However, you, as a loyal O’Reilly listener, have a right to know, I think, down the lane what exactly happened. And we are working in that direction, okay?" he promises.

The former Fox host wishes his old network well. Likewise, host of the show 'Tucker Carlson Tonight',
the show that has moved into O'Reilly's prime-time slot, led off with a tribute to his predecessor. "What O'Reilly did was not easy. He set a high bar, and I'm going to do my best to meet it. Thanks for sticking with us," said Carlson.
