Omarosa Has Left The Building...But She's Not Going Away Quietly

If you’re involved in any kind of a relationship with a person that errs to the side of the dramatic, then it’s wise to keep in mind that things may not end well. This is true whether we’re talking about personal or professional relationships, as those that thrive on drama aren’t exactly known for ending things graciously. We’re going to assume that members of the Trump administration had a sneaking suspicion that things wouldn’t work out too well in the long run with Omarosa Manigault, who has either been resigned or been fired - depending on who is telling the story - from her unclear role in the Trump White House.

Omarosa is widely regarded as one of the most dastardly villains in the history of reality television. She rocketed to fame during season one of ‘The Apprentice,’ but it’s quite obvious that the former host of the show had a soft spot for her despite the fact that she ultimately came up short in the competition. Many observers were surprised to see Omarosa out on the trail with Trump as he was running for office, and even more were downright flabbergasted to learn that she had secured a gig in his administration. Alas, all good things must come to an end.

Conflicting reports have emerged on exactly what has happened. There were plenty of rumblings that her exit was on the dramatic side as she simply didn’t want to go and demanded to speak to Trump. Other voices have claimed that it was a simple parting of the ways, and she’ll be leaving her post - whatever that may be - on January 20. As Newsmax shares, Omarosa tried to clear up the confusion during an appearance on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America.’ Unsurprisingly, she also managed to stir the pot even more.

"I have to be very careful about how I answer this, but there were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with, that I was very uncomfortable with, things that I observed," she said. "I can't expand upon it because I have to go back and work with these individuals. But when I have my story to tell as the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally."

Omarosa promised to tell that story when the time is right, so we can rest assured that there will be a book and whatnot forthcoming. As the entire country waits with bated breath for that to happen, Omarosa added that her exit was anything but dramatic.

"I resigned and I didn't do that in the residence as being reported. [Chief of Staff] John Kelly and I sat down in the situation room, which is a very secure, very quiet room in the White House and we had a very candid conversation,” she explained. “I wanted to make the one-year mark that was one of the goals that I set out to and then get back to my life. One of the things I asked of those people making those assertions, since they assert that I did it so publicly, is where are the pictures or videos?”

So then why was there so much hubbub about her exit? As she explains it, those reports emanated from someone that has “a personal vendetta against me.”
