Obama's Action Moments After Arriving for 9/11 Ceremony Cause Controvery

President Barack Obama attended a memorial ceremony at the Pentagon to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11 on Sunday. The ceremony was scheduled to include a moment of silence at the exact moment that the building was impacted by the terrorist attack on that fateful day. According to Western Journalism, the start time was bumped up - at the President’s request.

No official explanation has been given for the early start time, but it’s been reported that the change was made to accommodate a “restless President Obama.” After the early start, he would dive in and deliver his prepared remarks.

“The question before us, as always, is: How do we preserve the legacy of those we lost? How do we live up to their example? And how do we keep their spirit alive in our own hearts?” he said.

A gifted public speaker, Obama’s remarks were delivered without a hitch, but some are questioning the sincerity of the words in the wake of him accelerating the start time.

“Did it interfere with his tee time?,” one user commented on Twitter.

He also recorded a video to be shared with fans in attendance at that day’s NFL games. That video was greeted with several rounds of boos when it was played on the big screens at the stadiums.
