O’Reilly: Obama Puts Immigrants ‘Above Working Folks’

President Obama is more concerned about helping undocumented immigrants remain in the country than protecting U.S. jobs, Bill O’Reilly alleged Wednesday on his Fox News program.

According to Newsmax, the conservative talk-show host urged President-Elect Donald Trump to “stop the chaotic enforcement of immigration law which by extension protects us from terrorism.” He added: “Now, it’s quite clear … that the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton put the needs of immigrants, some of them here illegally, above the needs of working folks.”

O’Reilly slammed Obama for granting “amnesty” to some groups of undocumented immigrants. He also criticized the administration’s support of sanctuary cities and the “colossal welfare state.” The commentator argued that “the folks out in Indiana and other places are being laid off because corporations want to make a few extra bucks by moving to Mexico or another foreign country.”

O’Reilly was talking about the recently announced deal that Trump and Vice President-Elect Mike Pence negotiated with Carrier Corp. in Indiana. The company is to receive state tax breaks in exchange for halting its plan to shift about 1,000 jobs to Mexico.

“Right now, no Republican would dare defy Trump after a victory like Carrier,” O’Reilly proclaimed, apparently referring to several GOP members of the Electoral College who are refusing to vote for the president-elect when the electors meet Dec. 19.
