NRA: Obama Acting Like A Dictator

There is now a consideration for a ban on the “green-tip” armor piercing bullets fired from the AR-15 style of handguns and rifles by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Wayne LaPeirre the executive vice president at the National Rifle Association appeared on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” featured on the Fox Business Network and attacked Obama due to the newly proposed ban.

According to LaPierre, Obama is acting more like a modern dictator than a president by opposing the right for Americans to bear arms. When LaPierre was questioned about why there was not any more outcry regarding this proposed ban, he stated that this is likely due to the fact that the media does not want to let the American people know what is going on.

The truth is, however, that this proposed ban on ammo has been quite extensively covered by the media. In another recent statement from LaPierre, he stated that Obama hates the fact that the American people have the constitutional right to carry and own any firearms. He said that Obama is unable to win Congress or the ballet box and so now he is attempting to play the role of a dictator, planning to force the ammo ban. Snopes.com recently debunked the idea that Obama is going to use executive orders to ban this type of ammunition.
