Nothing Says Christmas Like A Hillary Clinton Tree Topper…

If you’ve been looking at your Christmas tree and thinking that it needs something extra special to really make it pop, you’re in luck. If you also just so happen to like reminders of the most contentious election in modern political history, then it’s really going to be a Merry Christmas in your household. A U.K.-based company named Women to Look Up To is offering up an item for sale that has to be seen to be believed.

As Fox News Insider shares, the company is offering for sale a Hillary Clinton tree topper. The 3D-sculpted ornament is a spitting image of the failed presidential candidate, and it’s noted that she’s featured "in her iconic power suit with angelic wings." If that doesn’t sound like something that will bring in thoughts of good tidings and cheer, you are not alone.

The item has been completely obliterated on social media, and critics are having a field day.

“Not getting what you want for Christmas? Don't worry, this Hillary tree topper has an excuse for it! It will blame: Misogyny Racism Homophobia Islamaphobia James Comey Russia Bernie Sanders Wikileaks Deplorable elves and so much more…,” shared one user.

“This #UnholyAngel #Hillary Tree Topper can be yours for only $80.00. I'm sure they'll be flying off the shelves...#JinxedChristmas,” wrote another commenter.

“Yes, Virginia, there is a Hillary Clinton Christmas tree topper,” added another poster.

Unsurprisingly, this is not the only attempt to tie the festive season together with the world of politics in one big ball of wax. There is something known as the “#Resistmas movement” gaining traction on social media, and it’s apparently a big hit with those that can’t come to terms with the results of the election as of yet.

That opens up many questions, and many of them are rather simple. For example: Really? Do we not have enough political bickering going on each and every day as it is? Must we ruin Christmas as well? Will there ever come a point in time when the so-called resistance will silently lick their wounds in the corner?

We certainly understand that there are folks out there that still aren’t all that pleased with how last year’s election turned out, but it’s extremely unclear what purpose lamenting it around the clock serves. There’s absolutely no changing the results of the election. Trump is the president, he will remain in that role until his term is up, and he may even get re-elected if he chooses to run again.

As for the tree topper, the company is free to sell the products of their choosing. While this may seem like a highly questionable ornament from afar, there’s obviously some kind of market for it. If it happens to tickle the fancy of certain customers, then so be it. But can we please stop with the ‘Resistmas’ nonsense? We really don’t need to sully an important holiday with thoughts of political bickering and an inability to accept reality.
