Mystery Solved - Prince Harry's Odd Hand Gesture In Picture With Melania Trump Finally Explained

When Prince Harry met with U.S. First Lady Melania Trump for the first time, a photo of the two began to spread like wildfire over the internet. Speculation about the unusual hand gesture the prince seemed to be making sparked off rumors and conspiracy theories, and was the object of analysis of many body language experts. Finally, someone has come forward to clear up the mystery and share the real reason behind the odd pose.

The odd picture features the Prince and the FLOTUS standing side-by-side in front of chairs for their first meeting. Melania was a guest at Harry’s Invictus Games for Wounded Warriors, and it was the first time the two had come face to face. There was clearly some awkwardness in that first meeting.

Harry has always shied away from the limelight whenever he could. His mother's untimely death and a life of being chased by the paparazzi has left Harry camera-shy in public. Melania, despite her former career as a high-fashion model, has also been reluctant to step into the spotlight when it comes to politics. Both were obviously a little rattled with nerves by the meeting, but more likely because of all the cameras snapping away at them and all the eyes on them.

In one photo, Harry looks like he's failing miserably at forcing a smile. He also has his hand with his thumb, middle and ring finger slipped inside of his jacket, with his forefinger and pinky on the outside. Speculation about his pose raised much controversy.

Conspiracy theorists suggested that Harry was throwing the 'Devil horns' sign. Some argued that this was the royal's way of warning people that the Trumps are 'of the devil'. The gesture is traditionally used to ward off evil spirits. Is Harry warding off the Trumps?

Others say that Harry, as all royals, politicians, celebrities and wealthy business people, is part of the 'Illuminati', a secret Satanic-worshipping, sex-crazed groups of elites who run the world. They live in strict secrecy, except they can't seem to resist throwing out symbols and signs that give them away. Thankfully, we have all those YouTubers out there ready to expose them.

Others who are experts in body language say that Harry was just trying to get comfortable. "Covering your stomach makes you feel more relaxed, more comfortable. When he heard the cameras going off, he was just getting comfortable," said Tonya Reiman, a body language expert, to Inside Edition.

Joe Navarro, another body language expert, told the Huffington Post, "There was some psychological discomfort."

Kate Bennett, the CNN reporter assigned to cover Melania Trump, has finally put an end to speculation. The CNN correspondent tells 'The Daily Front Row' in an interview that Harry got caught by photographers just as he was about to sit down.

Bennett explains that the Prince 'was reaching in to unbutton his coat to sit down, but the cameras kept clicking so he still had his hand in there in that weird way'.

"He was pausing," she continued. "He wasn’t throwing a secret gang sign. They got held up in the pictures."
