Mitt Romney Says Hillary Clinton Can't Relate to the Everyday American

Recently, Mitt Romney was interviewed on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" where he said of Hillary Clinton “When you see her on stage or when she comes into a room full of people, she’s smiling with her mouth but her eyes are saying, 'Where’s my latte?" He added that she was "robot-like" and “It just doesn’t suggest that she believes in everything that she’s saying.”

When Romney ran for U.S. president in 2012, the Democrats were quick to tag him as an out-of-touch corporate raider who did not understand the plight of the average American. Romney is worth around $250 million and Clinton may be worth between $20 million and $50 million. In the last year and a half, Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton earned $25 million from speaking engagements. Romney also said “What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, which is, I got beaten up on that sort of stuff, and I think Hillary Clinton has to expect the same treatment.”

He then blasted Clinton's campaign by saying “Hillary Clinton is somebody who talks about how much money some people are making and how much less other people are making, but look at how much money she’s been making.” On another MSNBC program "The Rundown," Democratic National Committee Chairwoman and Florida Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz fired back, saying, “If he’s asking where her latte is, where is their Kool-Aid, because that’s the Republicans’ drink of choice.”
