Marco Rubio: Hillary Clinton's Policies Are Rooted in the Past

On Sunday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is not right for the White House because she is stuck in the past. He said, “This is not a time for the status quo. She’s a defender of the status quo in a time when we need transformation in our policies." Rubio shared these statements and more with host Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday." He also questioned the ethics of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton, saying, "There seems to be this cloud of constant scandal and things that distract us from the core issues of the moment." Rubio then argued that their core values were based on the past.

Rubio also said, “The nation is at a hinge moment in its history. We have to recognize the balance of power in the world has shifted.” With regard to President George W. Bush's decision to invade Iraq, Rubio stated “He wasn’t dealing with a Nobel Peace Prize winner. He was dealing with Saddam Hussein. The world is a better place because Saddam Hussein is not there.”
