Man Takes To Internet Blaming Trump Supporters For Father's ICE Arrest - Forgets One Big Detail

A lot of people who support open borders are furious with the president's efforts to crack down on illegal immigration. Stories about undocumented immigrants being scooped up, arrested and deported keep popping up to gain public sympathy, but sometimes things are not as clear as they seem. Some of the so-called 'victims' of ICE are not so innocent after all.

A video went viral showing a child crying as two undocumented immigrants were arrested by ICE. Robert Espino streamed the film on Facebook Live as Texas police officers took his brother and brother-in-law into custody. The man railed against President Trump and all his voters.

"This is for you all motherf-ckers that voted for Trump,” Espino said. “Breaking up families and sh-t. DeSoto’s fu-king finest, ain’t got sh-t better to do. F-cking with families don’t catch real f*cking criminals.”

As a young girl cried, Espino asked, “You Trump supporters happy? My 9-year-old niece getting her father taken away from her.”

“My brother and brother in law were cuffed and taken away from their families they are not drug dealers, rapist, thieves, not even a traffic ticket,” wrote Espino in the video description. “They leave behind wives, sons and daughters. This what Donald J. Trump supporters wanted, to see families torn apart because of where you’re born.”

As it turns out, Espino was lying, or in the dark about his own family members. The arrest was a joint effort between ICE and DeSoto Police Department not just because they were undocumented, but for crimes they committed.

According to a press release, “Marquez Linares was deported Dec. 16, 2007. He illegally re-entered the United States sometime after being deported, which is a felony. Marquez Linares is currently in ICE custody pending his removal to Mexico."

But that wasn't the worst crime between them. The other man, Diaz Escobedo, had been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child. "On March 22, 2017, ICE officers determined that Diaz Escobedo had an outstanding arrest warrant for a probation violation related to this conviction. Consequently, Diaz Escobedo was transferred to the Denton County Jail. ICE placed an immigration detainer on him so that he will be transferred to ICE custody following disposition of his criminal charges,” read the statement.

ICE officials have repeatedly said that they’re not doing random sweeps of immigrants; they’ve been targeting individuals with criminal records.
