Linda Tripp: Hillary Clinton Is A 'Destroyer Of Women'

Linda Tripp has remained out of the public eye for the better part of two decades, but she felt compelled to speak up in light of recent developments. The White House veteran rose to fame as a key player in one of the biggest political scandals in our nation’s history, which nearly led to the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton.

Tripp helped to expose the fact that Clinton had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, in spite of his vehement denials.

Clinton managed to survive those stormy times, but the tidal wave of sex-related scandals in recent months has called into question how things would have played out in the present day. While there’s no clear-cut answer to that question, the speculation has also led to a closer examination of Clinton’s history on the scandal front.

In a word, it’s not good, and many other powerful men have recently been brought down over similar allegations. Tripp recently sat down with DailyMail TV for an extensive interview, and she had plenty to say about Clinton - and his wife.

As the Daily Mail shares, Tripp remains no fan of the Clintons, and she offered up a rather blunt assessment of her feelings while watching Hillary Clinton’s run for the White House.

“I think the most hurtful thing for me to watch during the campaign was [that] she touted herself as a champion of women. She is a destroyer of women should they get in her way,” Tripp said.

Tripp worked at the White House for two years in the Clinton administration, and she doesn’t have a whole lot of positive memories about the experience.

“What I saw for two years is nothing the American people could have fathomed. Most politicians speak with forked tongues but this was something quite different. There are no rules, no laws that apply to them,” Tripp continued. “I think by nature Bill Clinton would turn the other cheek knowing as he does what his role was with these women. But Hillary's role was that she said, 'We'll just have to destroy them,' and she means it.”

She’s at a loss to understand how the Clinton scandal is different from the ones that are playing out in the present day. As she sees it, Clinton is who he is, and it’s been covered up for far too long.

“To me he is a predator and always will be a predator. He sees women as a sort of enormous smorgasbord…and he takes what he wants and it's something to which he feels entitled. He was the leader of the free world and she was an intern, a kid, who happened to be extremely emotionally young for her age,” Tripp added. “To them it was presented as a) it didn't happen and b) if it did happen it was consensual and nobody's business.”

As a result of the scandal, Tripp and Lewinsky were completely obliterated by the press and turned into objects of scorn and ridicule. All the while, Clinton went on to finish his presidency with little more than a small blemish.

To say that the contrast between what the end result was for the aforementioned parties is outrageous would be an understatement.
