Latest White House Leak Reveals Disturbing Thing President Does Twice A Day

President Donald Trump has made it crystal clear that he’s pretty tired of the rash of so-called ‘fake’ news stories that make the rounds about him and his administration on a daily basis. When he lashes back out and refutes those stories, he’s hit back even harder by the mainstream press. In general, he’s portrayed as someone that can’t take criticism, as well as someone that wants to press the media to the point that it turns into the equivalent of state-run media that you would find under a repressive regime.

That’s certainly one way to spin it, but there’s other perspectives on that which are summarily dismissed by the press. Trump and his administration are far from perfect, but the barrage of negative stories making the rounds are at obscene levels. It’s an impossibility for an executive branch of the federal government to be as wretched as it’s portrayed to be. Mistakes happen in any presidential administration, but virtually everything Trump or a member of his administration does is portrayed as one, or it’s at least spun as something that’s being done for nefarious reasons.

That take plays well in the liberal echo chambers, but it’s downright tiring and transparent outside of those confines. Scores of ordinary Americans feel that way, so you can imagine how the commander-in-chief and members of his staff feel. That being said, Trump does himself no favors when he crosses the line and bites back. There’s a ton to be said for appearing presidential and remaining above the fray, and Trump continues to fumble that ball. He gets pulled into the negative narrative hook, line and sinker, and he adds even more fuel to the media’s never-ending fire in the process.

As Inquisitr shares, Trump has found a way to get around all of the negativity, at least for his own purposes. Reports indicate that he’s provided with a twice-daily briefing of ‘good’ news about himself and his administration. It’s also claimed that those briefings include snaps of Trump looking ‘powerful.’

That report can be attacked from two angles. On the good news front, that’s actually not a horrible thing. Being constantly surrounded by negativity is an incredible drain on both confidence and productivity, so a little pick me up of the positive variety can work wonders there. If you turn on the television or open up a paper to find yourself being ripped to shreds around the clock, a little positive affirmation can go a long way towards keeping the spirits up.

As far as the ‘powerful’ pics, that’s a bit over the top. However, we’ll add in the caveat of whatever gets you through the day. Regardless of who resides in the Oval Office, there’s an ego involved. Politicians - and even successful non-politicians such as Trump - do not get to where they are in the world without being told how wonderful they are along the way. That shouldn’t cross the line into non-stop ego stroking, but it unfortunately does tend to happen.

Look at any organization. How many employees kowtow to the head cheese in a bid to seek approval? A ton. Many employees will also essentially genuflect in the presence of the boss in a bid to curry even more favor. As such, those in powerful positions become accustomed to that, even though many of them view such behavior as weak.

If you really boil it down, the White House is not all that different from many other organizations. By extension, Trump is not all that different from the bosses that expect to have their ring kissed.
