Kid Rock Leaves Liberals Pissed After He Says This At Concert

Robert James Ritchie, better known to the world by his stage name, Kid Rock, was once welcome in Michigan. He grew up in a Detroit suburb, and gave back to the community. He was honored once by the Detroit chapter of the NAACP with their prestigious Great Expectations Award. But Rock has now come under controversy, and he may have worn out his welcome in his old home town.

The Detroit chapter of the National Action Network, a civil rights group, is calling for Kid Rock's upcoming concert in the city to be cancelled. Rock is slated to perform at Little Caesars Arena, but after a tirade he went on during a recent concert, some don't want to hear it.

It's not the first time Rock has been controversial. He always uses a Confederate flag in his stage shows, something that is stirring major controversy these days, and he's defended the flag. He's also been a harsh critic of former San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick for refusing to salute the American flag before football games. In Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wednesday night, Kid Rock got up and got political.

After slamming Kaepernick yet again for taking a knee during the National Anthem, and being 'PC' in general. Rock ranted, "And if you wanna take a knee or sit during our ‘Star-Spangled Banner,’ call me a racist ’cause I’m not [politically correct], and think you have to remind me that Black Lives Matter.”

Standing at a presidential podium, the conservative performer addressed the audience in poetry

Rock also slammed white supremacist groups. “Nazis, f---in’ bigots, and now again the KKK — I say screw all you a--holes. Stay the f--k away!”

The singer/rapper then got religious and reminded the audience that 'we are still one nation under God'.

Rock, who was a huge supporter of President Donald Trump in 2016, also brought up the election. “Like it or not, Hillary Clinton lost and your president is Donald mother f--king Trump. And if Kid Rock for Senate has got folks in disarray, wait ’till they hear Kid Rock for president of the USA.”

In 2017, Rock had announced that he had an interest in running for a seat in the Senate. He professed that it's no joke, he's seriously considering running in the state of Michigan as a Republican in 2018.

Rock’s controversial opinions have inspired the National Action Network to stage protests against Rock. “When you hire Kid Rock, who is known to be dog-whistling and cat-calling to white supremacist organizations and the white supremacist community, alt-right, whatever you want to call them, and you take our tax dollars to do that? That’s wrong,” said chapter president Rev. Charles Williams II.

Williams calls Rock's insistence on continuing to display the Confederate flag in a post-Charlottesville world the 'straw that broke the camel's back'.

“I’ve never flown that flag with any hate in my heart. Not one ounce,” said Rock, defending his act.

At this point, the show is planned to go on.
