Giuliani: Obama, Clinton ‘Ignore The Reality’ Of Terrorism

President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been guilty of “dereliction of duty” for their response to the terrorist threat, Rudy Giuliani alleged Wednesday.

Politico reported that the former New York City mayor, who has been campaigning on behalf of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, made the accusation in an op-ed for USA Today. He wrote that the two Democrats put “too much time and energy into the narrative that there is no ongoing war on terror.”

“Obama and Clinton continue to ignore the reality that a worldwide terror campaign is being deliberately executed by the very people they refuse to define: radical Islamic terrorists,” Giuliani explained. “Obama and Clinton’s gut reaction is to tell the American people that we’re defeating the Islamic State terrorist group abroad while systematically downplaying connections between radical Islam and attackers in the United States and Europe.”

The conservative firebrand, who was New York City’s mayor on 9/11, claimed that the Obama administration does not “comprehend the threats before us today.” He also ripped Clinton for her reluctance to utter the words “radical Islamic terrorism.”

Giuliani had much kinder words for a fellow Republican, George W. Bush. According to Politico, he wrote that the former president’s inability to prevent the 9/11 attacks was “excusable.”
