Gingrich: Trump Is Going To ‘Kick Over The Table’

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has been one of President-elect Trump’s biggest advocates, and he has some words of wisdom for the mainstream media. As Newsmax reports, he feels that part of its problem is that they "cannot come to grips with the level of talent they are dealing with."

It’s pretty clear that Gingrich likes what he’s seeing out of Trump, and he sees great things in the future.

"I think the odds are better than even money that Nov. 8, 2016, was a watershed event," he said during a recent speech.

What’s more, he’s drawing parallels to perhaps the biggest conservative icon in modern times - and he sees the scale tipping in Trump’s favor.

"The basic radicalism of Trumpism is dramatically greater than Reagan was in 1980 or we were in 1994," he continued.

Gingrich is slated to serve as a ‘senior planner’ for the Trump Administration, but he’ll essentially be operating in a behind the scenes role. As far as he’s concerned, Trump has things under control without needing too much help.

"Donald Trump is the grizzly bear in "The Revenant." If you get his attention, he will walk over, bite your face, and sit on you," Gingrich said.
