Gingrich: Clinton Is Running A 'Great Criminal Enterprise Disguised As A Foundation'

The news media refuse to acknowledge Hillary Clinton’s “criminal” activities with her family’s charitable foundation because most reporters support the Democrat’s presidential campaign, according to Newt Gingrich.

Politico reported that the former Republican speaker of the House, an adviser to GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Monday: “This is a giant criminal enterprise disguised as a foundation and disguised as a campaign.”

Gingrich pointed to a report by the Center for Public Integrity, which claimed that 96 percent of this year’s presidential campaign contributions from journalists, editors and news anchors has gone to Clinton. The former secretary of state has received more than $382,000 from those sources, compared with $14,000 for Trump, according to the report.

“So that means among the news media, the ratio was 24 to 1 in favor of Hillary Clinton,” Gingrich said. “Now, of course, they wouldn’t suggest that they’re biased, but 24 to 1, which by the way is about the same number as the amount of minutes dedicated Friday a week ago between the Trump 11-year-old tape and WikiLeaks … it was 23 minutes on Trump and 57 seconds in all three networks combined on WikiLeaks.”

The ex-speaker was referring to a 2005 recording from the filming of an “Access Hollywood” episode, in which Trump boasted about having kissed and groped women; and WikiLeaks’ recent release of hacked emails from the account of Clinton’s campaign manager.

Gingrich accused the “elite media” of reporting “propaganda.”
