Fiorina: Elizabeth Warren Doesn't Know How To Tackle Crony Capitalism

On Saturday, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina lambasted Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), saying, “Crony capitalism is alive and well. Elizabeth Warren of course is wrong with what to do about it."

Fiorina spoke during National Review’s NRI Ideas Summit in Washington, D.C. saying,“The more complicated government gets – and it’s really complicated now – the more powerless the small and little people are for dealing with it. Government over the last 40 years has become a vast, corrupt, unaccountable net of bureaucracy. There is a huge gulf between what people think about the political class and what the political class thinks people think. It stacks the deck against them.” This statement came in response to Warren's proposals for more government regulations. Fiorina also discussed how many small businesses struggle to thrive under a mass of regulations. She said, “They forget Google started in a dorm room. This is what enrages me about liberal policies. They claim to care about people’s lives while destroying lives. This is not compassion. It is disrespect of the highest order.” Fiorina also said, “People out there are not troubled by the fact I have not held elected office.”
