Don't Look Now, But This Under-The-Radar Clinton Scandal May Be The Biggest One Yet

Through the years, the words ‘Clinton’ and ‘scandal’ have appeared together in the confines of the same sentence an ungodly amount of times. There have been a countless number of allegations of impropriety against former President Bill Clinton for alleged acts of sexual misconduct, not to mention things such as the Whitewater scandal, Benghazi, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s proclivity for using private servers, and the Uranium One scandal that allegedly enriched the former First Couple even further.

For each and every one of these scandals, the Clintons have brushed them aside and assured the American people that there’s absolutely nothing to see here. As they see it, they’re the victims of a vast conspiracy by a vague cabal of right-wing operatives that are out to get them, and they also blame the mainstream press for feeding the beast.

The Clintons make these claims in spite of the fact that the mainstream press rarely gives any attention to the alleged misgivings of the icons of the Democratic party.

So is there any fire beyond this endless stream of smoke? While it’s hard to say with complete certainty, there certainly seem to be an awful lot of coincidences involving the Clintons if there is in fact nothing rotten in the state of Denmark.

If there was really nothing to see here, then why on earth wouldn’t they clear their own names beyond a shadow of a doubt? The fact that the couple never takes that step is quite telling, as is the overall muted silence from a mainstream press corps that brushes off the plethora of allegations as a whole lot of nothing.

As the Washington Examiner shares, there’s even a new scandal regarding the Clintons that has been making the rounds, but the vast majority of folks have no idea about it. So why is that?

Because outside of a few outlets, the press is largely ignoring it. The Federal Election Commission is in the midst of an ongoing investigation into an alleged money laundering scheme tied to the ‘Hillary Victory Fund.’

Yes, that fund is tied to failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who never did quite break through that proverbial glass ceiling. We’re not talking about a couple of shady expenses here and there either, but rather a staggering $84 million that was effectively filtered into Clinton’s campaign in violation of campaign finance laws.

In short, the money would make its way through the state parties before magically being transferred over to the Clinton campaign and the DNC.

So what’s the big deal about all of that? Politics is big business, and money from donors gets shuffled around all the time, no?

While that may very well be the case, it’s in clear violation of campaign finance laws. If the money was in fact completely above board and not something that could cause problems for Clinton and the DNC, then why would the funds need to take a pit stop in the state’s coffers first?

The Committee to Defend the President is behind the complaint, and they allege that Clinton solicited money from big-name donors, and that money was then run through the rinse cycle to circumvent campaign finance limits.

Does this mean that Clinton is guilty of this beyond a shadow of a doubt? Of course not, but the sheer enormity of the charges should certainly pique the interest of the inquiring minds in the media.
