Donald Trump Takes On The 'NeverTrump' Movement

On Monday, and just one day before the Wisconsin primary, Donald Trump slammed the #NeverTrump movement at a rally in Superior, Wisconsin.

Trump said, "You know what these are? These are establishment people that don't want to see it happen because they're all on the trough; they're all making a lot of money. I don't even think in many cases they care who wins; they want to keep it going. If they worked this hard to stop Obama, Obama wouldn't have had a chance, you know that?"

He also acknowledged speculation from Republicans regarding a contested convention this summer in Cleveland. To that, he responded, "My eyes are wide open."

Earlier that day, Trump's rival Sen. Ted Cruz called the possible effort of naming another nominee outside of Trump or Cruz at a contested convention a "pipe dream." In addition, Trump spoke about his meeting last week with Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus by saying he is a "nice man." Although he added, "We are not going to be taken advantage of."

Trump then criticized the millions of dollars in attack ads running against him in Wisconsin by saying, "I'm feeling it." Trump then went after Ohio Gov. John Kasich by saying "He's taking my votes."

Trump referenced the fact that Kasich's only win was in his home state of Ohio. Trump called for Kasich to drop out and said, "He voted in favor of NAFTA ... that sucked the businesses from Wisconsin and every place else. And what he wants now is TPP [Trans-Pacific Partnership] ... a total disaster for our country," Trump said of the international trade accord. "This is going to make NAFTA look like a baby, folks," adding, "and Ted Cruz wants it."

Trump also mocked Cruz for speaking like he's "always debating" and not addressing people more casually. Trump asked, "Does that bother people?" Of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, Trump said, "Let me be unpresidential just for a little while longer, and maybe I'll be a little unpresidential as I beat Hillary, because, ugh. We'll beat Hillary so badly."
