Donald Trump Jr. Had Big News For NY Supporters, There May Be More Trumps Getting Into Politics

Love them or hate them, you have to hand it to the Trump family: they go for what they want, and are usually successful in getting it. President Donald Trump wasn't even expected to win the primaries, but he defied all odds and won the election. Now, another Trump is considering running for office.

Donald Trump Jr. may soon follow in his father's footsteps and run for political office. According to his supporters, he's considering running for governor of New York.

"Donald Junior said he is interested in running for office, such as Governor of New York, but the position of Mayor of New York would be less interesting to him," said a guest at the F6 Labs gun club in Hicksville, NY to Page 6. Trump Jr. was invited to speak at a meeting there recently.

"Going back to doing deals is boring after 18 months. The politics bug bit me," Trump said, according to the guest.

Trump Jr. lamented about how he's missed the 'intensity' of politics ever since going back to regular business wheeling and dealing. "I thought I'd be going back to my regular job. I thought I'd be really excited about it. But once you get a little bit of a taste of that action, it's hard to leave," he explained.

He wouldn't be as interested in being a member of Congress or the Senate, though.

Trump Jr. and his brother Eric, have been running his dad's empire ever since Trump Sr. took his oath of office. According to an inside source for the family, it was just talk. "Don has no intentions of running for political office at this time... [He] is totally focused on running the Trump Organization with his brother," the source said.

Some feel it doesn’t matter—a lot of people doubt Trump Jr. could win an election in a liberal state like New York given the unpopularity of his father. But if he did win, what might be next? Could the future hold more Trumps in the White House?
