Donald Trump Calls The U.S. Trade Deficit With China 'Rape'

At a campaign event in Indiana on Sunday, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump spoke out about the U.S.'s trade deficit with China. He argued, “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country, and that’s what they’re doing."

In addition, Trump has consistently accused China of currency manipulation in order to make their exports more competitive within the global market. Although, this is the first time Trump used the word "rape" to describe it.

Trump went on to say, “We’re going to turn it around, and we have the cards, don’t forget it. We have a lot of power with China.” Trump has also recently received the endorsement of boxer Mike Tyson, who was convicted of rape in Indiana.
