Could Trump Benefit From Terrorism in France?

The reaction to last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris will sweep Donald Trump into the White House, according to Ann Coulter.

The conservative writer and commentator suggested that voters outraged and frightened by the incident will rally behind the Republican presidential candidate because of his hard-line stance on illegal immigration, The Hill reported.

Coulter tweeted a torrent of messages during and after the attacks, which left at least 129 civilians dead and more than 350 injured. At one point, she wrote: “They can wait if they like until next November for the actual balloting, but Donald Trump was elected president tonight.”

Trump has been at the center of controversy since his campaign-announcement speech earlier this year when he called Mexicans “killers” and “rapists.” He wants to deport all of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants living illegally in the United States.

“No more Muslim immigration!” Coulter demanded in one tweet. In other messages, she slammed the Obama administration’s immigration policies. She also advocated gun rights and criticized college protesters, according to The Hill.

“How did this happen?” Coulter asked as the death toll rose late in the evening. Referring to a Jeb Bush comment, she tweeted: “How does one say ‘immigration is an act of love’ in French?” Another message read, “How does one say DREAMERS in French?”
