Clinton Touted: While We Took Out Bin Laden, You Hosted Reality TV

Hillary Clinton, during Wednesday night’s presidential debate, boasted about her political experience while ridiculing Donald Trump’s career in business and entertainment.

The Democratic candidate cited her work as secretary of state, declaring: “On the day I was in the Situation Room monitoring the raid that brought Osama bin Laden to justice, (Trump) was hosting the ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’”

According to the Hill, Clinton also recalled her background with the Children’s Defense Fund, her efforts to improve public education during her husband’s tenure as governor of Arkansas, and her speech at the United Nations promoting women’s rights. She pointed out that, during those years, Trump was fighting federal charges of racial discrimination at his housing projects and demeaning women in the Miss Universe pageant that he owned.

“I am happy to compare my 30 years of experience, what I’ve done for this country, trying to help in every way I could ... with your 30 years,” Clinton said to her opponent. Trump argued that he “did a much better job” as a real-estate developer.

“When you look at her real record, take a look at Syria, take a look at at the migration, take a look at Libya, take a look at Iraq,” the Republican candidate said. “She gave us ISIS, because her and Obama created this huge vacuum and a small group came out of that huge vacuum. We never should have been in Iraq, but once we were in there, we never should have gotten out the way we got out.”
