Clinton Slammed Ivanka In New Book - Now First Daughter Has One Question For Her

Ivanka Trump has decided to speak out about Hillary Clinton's new book, in which she takes aim at the first daughter. During the taping of a “Dr. Oz” program on Monday, Ivanka was asked to comment on Hillary Clinton’s book about the 2016 election.

One of the people who watched the show told Page Six that the president’s eldest daughter responded by wondering out loud how the former first lady dealt with her husband, President Bill Clinton, when the couple found themselves in a disagreement.

In the interview, the 35-year-old Trump announced that doctors diagnosed her with postpartum depression after she had her first child, Arabella, six years ago. She and her husband, White House adviser Jared Kushner, also are the parents of Joseph, 3, and Theodore, 1.

An audience member was impressed enough with the president’s daughter to post a message on Facebook stating: “Was blown away by how beautiful and elegant Ivanka Trump was. The highlight of the show was when Ivanka joked about taking over her father’s Twitter account. I’m surprised she even commented on (Clinton’s) book.” The show was scheduled to air Thursday, Sept. 21.

According to Fox News, Ivanka’s fan base is growing. The television network reported that thousands of people are not only imitating her style; they are actually trying to look just like her. A plastic surgeon in New York City, Dr. Norman Rowe, said he has experienced a large increase in customers who want to copy the first daughter’s appearance. He told Page Six that “since the summer of ‘16, maybe four a month, one a week,” have gone to his office to have their faces altered with broader cheekbones, narrower noses and bigger eyes.

All told, about 50 patients have asked Rowe for such surgery since last summer. Only Kylie Jenner has as many people mimicking her appearance, according to the doctor. To get the “Ivanka look,” a client must spend between $30,000 and $50,000. Some people save money by just having the surgeon provide temporary fillers and Botox treatments. Others go all the way with rhinoplasty and cheek implants, spending big bucks for what Rowe calls the “permanent Ivanka.”

The doctor said the interest in the first daughter’s face was not unexpected. “I never saw it before the primary,” he recalled. “Maybe they just like the look, but also that she is a powerful woman, self-confident, part of the first family. Do they want to be her? Yes, deep down, maybe.” Rowe noted that Republicans are not the only ones seeking to look like Ivanka. He said he did “not think (political affiliation) plays a role in the least,” adding: “I think it has to do with somebody who you respect the way they look, and I don’t think it’s anything to do with whether you’re blue or red.”

The president’s appearance is not nearly as sought after, according to Rowe. When asked whether any of his clients have asked for a presidential makeover, the surgeon replied: “No, I’ve never had anybody come in and say, ‘Make me into a Donald!’”

Ivanka, who has a line of fashions and accessories, is an unpaid adviser to the president with an office in the West Wing.
