Christie- Iran Deal a Bad Legacy For Obama

History will show the Iran nuclear agreement was “the worst thing” President Obama did during his time in the White House, according to Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie.

“He always believes he is the smartest guy in the room and he gets it and nobody else does,” the New Jersey governor said Wednesday on Fox News. “He believes (the Iran deal) is his legacy and I do, too. People will look back and say this is the worst thing this president has ever done and every death Iran causes is on Barack Obama’s head.”

This week, Obama secured enough votes in the Senate to ensure the pact’s approval. Thirty-two of the chamber’s Democrats, as well as two independents, reportedly have pledged to vote for the deal.

“I cannot believe a lot of these folks would agree to this without getting something else from the president,” Christie said. “I would like the president to chronicle the deals in back rooms, secret deals, we know he made secret deals with Iran. … What secret deals has he made with members of Congress?”

The governor questioned whether Obama’s supporters “are ready to live with the conduct of people who are the largest state sponsors of terror in the world,” adding that Iranian leaders “want to wipe Israel off the map.”
