Chris Christie Blames President Obama for Increased Lawlessness

On Tuesday, Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) was interviewed on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" where he discussed President Obama's actions by saying “Whether it is New York, Chicago or San Francisco, it is happening everywhere. The president has encouraged this lawlessness." Christie then referenced Obama's immigration policies as proof that the president is selective regarding what laws he chooses to enforce.

He went on to say that this is inspiring similar approaches to government at the state and city level by citing Colorado's lax marijuana laws and San Francisco's sanctuary policies. Christie said that the public's disenchantment with a government that does not obey its own laws has boosted support for outsider presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Ben Carson. Christie said “The statement they’re making is that they’re incredibly angry at Washington. People in this country are getting more and more fed up. They’re fed up with government. It’s time to get these people the hell out of Washington.”
