Carson Catching Up To Trump

It seems that two political outsiders are getting closer to each other in a key swing state. Dr. Ben Carson is now showing to have 18 percent of the Iowa vote, just five points behind Trump's 23 points--this is according to the latest Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register Iowa Poll.

The first 2016 nomination balloting contest is held in Iowa. In addition, if first and second choices are combined, it shows Carson tied with Trump. For now, the poll shows an advantage for those not part of the political establishment. Along with Carly Fiorina and Sen. Ted Cruz, they hold support from 54 percent of the likely electorate.
