Carly Fiorina: President Obama's Policies 'Have Harmed Every Group They Claim To Help'

On Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina spoke about President Obama on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

There, she said, “The policies of this administration have harmed every group they claim to help. [It is] women, African-Americans, people who are grinding it out in the lower middle class. I think liberal policies have failed. But frankly, under Republican politicians, we haven’t made it much better because government continues to get bigger, both Republicans and Democrats.”

Fiorina then argued that Obama has “demonstrably failed” at working across party lines with Republican lawmakers. Fiorina then said, “I’ll work hard to build across the aisle as well as within my own party. What the American people are right now is outraged, and it’s not partisan. In my events, [I’ve] had lots of Democrats that show up and lots of independents as well."

She continued, "The fundamentals we’re talking about now — taking our government back, getting it back under control, having it do well, [having] it do the things it’s supposed to do and get out of the things it’s not supposed to do, that’s actually not a partisan issue. People know things aren’t working anymore. Nothing’s getting done [and] partisanship is part of it.”

According to the latest RealClearPolitics average of samplings, Fiorina receives 10.4 percent voter support.
