Assange Makes Bold Claims About White House Takeover, Now Pence Is Responding

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has provided Americans with a great deal of information in recent years, and continues to drop little bombs on a regular basis. This week, his most recent explosive claim is that Hillary Clinton is trying to push Vice President Mike Pence to take over the executive office.

According to Assange, Clinton is working with two intelligence officials to get Trump impeached and replace him with Mike Pence. Clinton, who may run again in 2020, feels she stands a better chance against the Vice President.

"Clinton stated privately this month that she is quietly pushing for a Pence takeover,” Assange said in a tweet. “She stated that Pence is predictable hence defeatable.”

He later tweeted, "Two [intelligence community] officials close to Pence stated privately this month that they are planning on a Pence takeover. Did not state if Pence agrees."

Assange followed up with one more note, making it clear he was talking about impeachment, not other forms of takeover.

Pence weighed in immediately to call the comments 'absurd' and 'offensive'.

"I would find all of that dialogue to be absurd and frankly offensive," said Pence to conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham. "It is the greatest honor of my life to serve shoulder-to-shoulder with the 45th President of the United States."

"I would dismiss that out of hand and tell you that I'm just, I'm so excited about the progress that we've been made strengthening this country, protecting this country, reviving this country's economy and all credit goes to President Donald Trump," Pence concluded.

Considering the way the media and the left attack President Donald Trump on a daily basis, flinging accusations even when there is no evidence to support them, it’s unclear why Clinton would feel the popular, likable VP would be a better opponent than the POTUS. Perhaps they fear Mr. Trump isn’t as ‘failed’ a president as they keep saying he is.
