Ashley Judd Asserts Woman Have More Rights In Middle East, Gets Slammed

Somewhere along the way, many celebrities across this great land of ours have morphed into political pundits that take great pride in spouting off their views about everything. While there has always been some sense of activism amongst the entertainment elite, it’s gotten to the point of being over the top. It began to rear its head during last year’s presidential campaign, and it metastasized even further after the election results poured in.

Some stars have said their peace and moved on, while others insist on pounding the drum about anything and everything. As The Blaze shares, one of those stars is Ashley Judd, and it’s pretty hard to remember the days when she was remembered for little more than her talents and famous last name. She’s transformed into a full-blown left wing activist, and it seems like she has zero tolerance for anything that doesn’t align with her political viewpoints.

That’s all fine, well and good, but Judd - and other celebs - seem to fail to realize that fans that may lean to the right also purchase tickets, albums and whatknot. While some celebs can simply look back on things and explain that they got caught up in the heat of the moment, Judd has crossed too many lines for that to even be a possibility. For example, she made a giant spectacle of herself at the Women’s March in the nation’s capital the day after Trump was sworn in.

“I didn’t know devils could be resurrected, but I feel Hitler in these streets! A mustache traded for a toupee! Nazis renamed the Cabinet! Electro-conversion therapy, the new gas chamber shaming the gay out of America, turning rainbows into suicide notes!” she said.

While her left-leaning fans may have eaten that up, others were incredibly turned off by her inflammatory remarks. She continues to offer up her unsolicited viewpoints for unknown reasons, and users on social media have grown tired of her act. It’s to the point that she can’t even ask a question without being blasted.

“Question: are equal rights in the Constitution?” she recently wrote.

“Why don’t you read it - at least once? It’s not very long,” replied one user.

“I used to have respect for you. No longer. You and liberal friends are creating a divide in our country that may never be filled,” added another.
