Young Man's Arms Bulge Due To Injections Of Synthetic Oils

A man on Instagram is getting a lot of attention for his bulging biceps, and he's proud of his look. Unfortunately, he's taking major health risks to get his arms to be as big as they are. He's been injecting himself with synthetic oils as a way of bulking up his upper arms. But he says he's 'fine' and plans to continue with the process.

Kirill Tereshin is an enthusiastic bodybuilder from Russia who became obsessed with the idea of getting huge arms. The 21-year-old got too impatient trying to build his biceps the old-fashioned way, through diet and hours of weight lifting, so he opted for a shortcut. He injects his arms with 'synthol', a synthetic oil that causes them to blow up.

He began by injecting a small bit of the liquid into his muscles and they grow at an accelerated pace. At first, they grew just an inch, but the increased bulk isn't permanent, so he has to continue to inject himself. He also has to keep increasing the dosage for the injections to work. While he started with a small amount, he now says he has to inject liters of liquid into his arms to keep getting results, but he has no plans of slowing down. His muscles grew as much as 10 inches in 10 days.

Tereshin is hoping to break bodybuilding records one day. He has more than 35,000 followers on Instagram and proudly shows off his bulging arms. He's delighted by the results, even if most of the comments he gets are criticisms.

People have pointed out that his arms are out-pacing his upper body growth, making him look out of proportion. Photos of him show that his muscles are inflamed, and his skin is over-stretched and getting cracked from the rapid expansion. He doesn't look muscular so much as disfigured.

The young man admits he's suffered health problems due to the injections. “In order to reach such a size, you need to inject liters into your arms. I was doing it and getting a fever of up to 40 degrees, I was lying in bed, feeling like I was dying, but then it all turned out fine.”

Other bodybuilders who have used the synthetic oil have suffered from horrifying health consequences. Romario Dos Santos Alves was 25 years old when he got hooked on the injections. His arms became rock solid due to the liquid until he couldn’t even get a syringe in them anymore, but he was so determined he got his hands on syringes used to inject bulls. He eventually stopped injecting himself, but he ended up looking ‘like a monster’ and doctors had no idea how to get the injected material out of his arms. He nearly had to have his arms amputated because his kidneys were failing due to the toxins.

Tereshin is not going to be discouraged, however. He believes that the health risk is minor, and he’s willing to take it if it means achieving his goal of breaking records. The question is, will he survive till then?
