Kim Attempts Amends With Followers After Lashing Out Over Un-Airbrushed Pics

If you’re going to lash out on social media - whether it’s justified or not - you had better be prepared for the backlash. Social media users that think nothing of trolling others with hurtful comments are not big fans of being called out, and feeding into them will almost always lead to even more harsh commentary flowing your way. It can be pretty tough to recover from such public spats as well, but Kim Kardashian is doing her best to make a recent meltdown a thing of the past.

As the Daily Mail shares, the reality star got into a bit of a row with fans on social media after some unairbrushed photos of her in a bikini began making the rounds. While she looked fine in the pics overall, fans were pretty taken aback at what she looked like in her natural state. Many users weren’t shy about telling her exactly what they thought.

“Kim you make me feel sick talking about your flawless body when you run to the plastic surgeon for everything. There is nothing real about you,” said one user.

“Nothing natural about years of Botox,” added another.

Kardashian was reportedly quite upset about all the negative commentary that flowed her way, and that prompted her to fight back. She ended up losing about 100,000 followers as a result, but she’s now trying to let bygones be bygones and re-engage with those she may have alienated. She dropped a selfie out there of her wearing some relatively skimpy attire, and she captioned it with a simple ‘Hey.’

This too will likely pass, but it could also serve as a jump the shark moment of sorts for Kardashian. It’s quite evident that many social media users reexamined the value she brings to the table after the whole unairbrushed controversy, and some of them may have no interest in going back.
