Fantasy Fanatic Spends $60,000 To Transform Himself Into An Elf

A man from Buenos Aires, Argentina, has splurged $60,000 on cosmetic procedures in order to fulfil his dream of looking like a real-life elf. After becoming fascinated with mythology and fantasy during his teenage years, Luis Padron, 26, has undergone a number of procedures and spent thousands of dollars to reach his desired look.

The man has spent $60,000 in order to transform himself into a real-life elf and fulfil his dream of becoming a fantasy creature. Mr. Padron’s fascination with fantasy began after he was heavily bullied as a child.

Finding solace and acceptance in the world of fantasy, Mr. Padron quickly developed an obsession with fantasy creatures, stories, and beings.

In order to achieve his desired look, Mr. Padron has had liposuction on his jaw, full body hair removal, laser skin bleaching, an operation that created a ‘vampiric’ widows peak in his hairline and in his most recent surgeries, a procedure to make his ears appear pointed and a V-line jaw surgery in Korea.

“The V-line jaw surgery was performed by Dr. Park of ID Hospital and consists of breaking, filing, and screwing the jaw to give it a perfect diamond shape,” Mr. Padron stated. “After all the swelling goes down, I will look like an anime character, that's what I asked the doctors for, an unreal fantasy jawline.” Mr. Padron flew some 12,000 miles to Korea for the surgery, determined to achieve the perfect “anime filter” to complete his look.

Following this, Mr. Padron flew straight to Los Angeles to have his ears sliced, shaped and stitched back together in a pointed form. “The other surgery is an ear modification, to re-shape it to look like an elf - Dr. Cristian Perez Latorre was in charge of that. He was very famous in Argentina as a celebrity surgeon, he cut my ears and then stitched them to make them pointy.”

It remains unclear if Mr. Padron’s hearing will be impacted as a result of this procedure.

“When all the swelling goes down, the ears heal, and my vampire hairline starts growing more strong, I will start bleaching my hair and skin again. The final shape will take a long time, because the same as the jawline, it takes months to heal but then finally I will start feeling like an elf.”

Mr. Padron later revealed that he has ambitions to audition for the new ‘The Lord of the Rings’ television series from Amazon, finally achieving his dream of becoming a real-life elf.

“I feel closer than ever to my dream, I still have to heal and make some touch-ups to be complete, but I am finally close to my goal,” Mr. Padron confessed. “I hope I can have a role in The Lord of the Rings TV series - with that, my dream of being an elf would become a reality.”

Mr. Padron’s transformation came as a complete surprise to his family and friends, who knew nothing of the surgeries until after they were complete. “It was surprise surgery; I didn’t tell my family or friends that I was going to do it until it was done.”

While Mr. Padron confessed that his family were initially shocked, they allegedly came around and “felt happy” he was finally achieving his dream.
