Bride's Father Died Before Her Wedding, Groom Goes Above And Beyond To Make Her Day Special

Shannon was “Daddy’s Little Girl.” She dreamed of dancing and having her father walk her down the aisle at her wedding.

Shannon prayed for the day that she would be a bride instead of a bridesmaid, and got her chance when she met Dan and his two songs, according to Little Things. The couple fell in love and decided to marry.

Shannon was super excited for big her day, to have her father walk her down the aisle and to share that special father-daughter dance. However, her father was stricken with cancer and died before her wedding day.

Shannon was crushed by the reality that her father would not be there on her wedding day. But when her wedding day came, her new husband Don came up with a way to make up for it. He started out with an amazing choreographed routine that he did with his two sons, Tommy and Joey. Then the music switched and a tribute to Shannon’s father ensued.

Wearing a t-shirt with her dad’s photo that said “May I Have This Dance?” he danced with his wife in place of her father.

There wasn’t a dry eye in that room. Yours won’t be either after you watch this video.
