Teachers Left Horrified When They Learn the Cause of Boy’s Scars

Education is a pretty big priority in some households, and children that fail to go along with the program can find themselves with consequences to deal with. Typically, that will amount to grounding or a loss of privileges until the problem is rectified, and hopefully that’s just the nudge the little ones need to get it together. If that fails to produce results, the best course of action is usually to have a meeting with teachers and counselors to get to the bottom of the problem.

The vast majority of parents and guardians will stick to a game plan along those lines, but others turn their noses up at conventional methods of turning things around and resort to extreme measures. Like this foster mom from China. As the Mirror reports, the unidentified woman horrifically beat and abused a nine-year-old boy that was in her care. Her reasoning? The boy did not complete his homework.

Photos have been making the rounds of the damage the woman inflicted on the poor child, and they are truly a disturbing sight to see. The woman beat the child with a scratching rod, kicked him and whipped him with ropes, and she burned him with water vapor for good measure. The boy spoke out about the abuse to his teachers, and they were shocked and disturbed to find the little boy’s body was absolutely covered with burns and bruises.

To make the incident even more disturbing, the boy had failed to complete extra work that had been assigned by his domineering foster mother, and there are no indications that he had actually failed to completed his assigned school work. The woman has been detained by police for "willful and malicious injury," and the boy has been temporarily placed with his biological parents. No word on whether the boy will be permanently scarred by the vicious abuse, but hopefully he finds himself in a much better living situation.
