Mother Lets Husband Rape Her Daughters For Unconscionable Reason

Misty Machinshok, 33, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty in January to rape, aggravated assault, conspiracy, child endangerment and other charges. She was sentenced earlier this month. She put her personal interests before her children and committed the heinous act of enticing her husband to have sex with her teenage daughter. She was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.

Assistant District Attorney Nancy Violi alleged that Machinshok was unable to have another child so she planned to have her husband impregnate her 15-year-old daughter and then raise the child as her own.

Prosecutors said the couple planned to tell others the teenager had gotten pregnant at a party. Machinshok had met her husband, 29-year-old Gary Machinshok, through a dating website called Onlinebootycall.com.

Assistant District Attorney Nancy Violi told the judge that Misty Machinshok even “coached” the pair on what sexual positions would be the best for getting pregnant. Violi was quoted as saying, "She put her own self-interests ahead of (the child)." Judge David Lupas said, “The acts perpetrated on this victim are extremely heinous in nature. It’s hard to envision.”

On top of her prison sentence, Lupas also ordered that Misty Machinshok undergoes sex offender treatment. She will also be ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.

In addition, Gary Machinshok is charged with molesting the girl’s 12-year-old sister. In August he pleaded no contest to numerous charges including rape, aggravated sexual assault, statutory rape and indecent assault of a person under age 13. He is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.

Misty Machinshok's daughters are now in foster care.
