Man Who Raped Daughter, Chick, Dog Gets Shocking Sentence

A 27-year-old man was accused of a whole slew of sexual assaults. The man, who raped his 3-year-old daughter and 9-year-old stepdaughter, as well as sexually abusing several chickens and the family dog, has been punished for his actions with a 3-year prison sentence. It’s the punishments for crimes like this that make people think that the justice system is failing.

According to ABC, the unnamed culprit regularly visited the rooms of his daughter and, especially, his step-daughter, waking the girls up and sexually abusing them after they went to sleep. The revolting man also admitted to a range of other reprehensible actions, including sexually abusing the family dog and committing some kind of penetrative sex act on his chickens.

According to Daily Mail, the culprit appeared in court and attempted to defend or explain his actions by telling the court that he was also abused as a child, an experience that irreversibly twisted his relationship with sex. A psychological evaluation of the man yielded similar conclusions, with the report stating that the man had “distorted attitudes” about sex, family and relationships.

The psychological report also hypothesized that the unidentified man was beginning to feel “aroused by the wrongfulness of his sexual [behavior].”

The horrifying case of abuse came to the attention of the authorities when the man, in a fit of guilt, sent a letter to his wife and told her everything about his abuse of the children and animals. The pair have since divorced and the man’s wife is horrified by her husband’s obscene actions.

“My beautiful, innocent children certainly never, ever deserved such terrible violations of their bodies and hearts,” she emphasized while completing a victim impact statement.

However, despite the severity of his crimes, the sexual abuser was given a paltry 6 years and 7 months in prison, a sentence that was moderated down to 3 years and 6 months’ prison and no parole. If the man doesn’t do anything to extend his sentences, it’s likely that he will be back on the streets in around 3 years’ time.

The punishment was delivered by District Court Judge Paul Muscat. Understandably, many people believe the sentence to be nothing in comparison to his crimes. However, Judge Muscat does not share such views, telling the court: “Offenders should be encouraged to come clean and accept their criminal actions.”

Nevertheless, the judge’s leniency should not be construed as supporting his crimes, with Muscat referring to the man’s actions as “disturbing…gross…and unnatural.” Prior to delivering the man’s sentences, Judge Muscat attempted to convey the seriousness of the man’s actions – an attempt that seems trivial in light of his subsequent sentence.

“You abused and betrayed in the most serious way possible your position as father of the children to satisfy your abnormal sexual desires. You know you must now pay the price,” said the District Court Judge.

On a more positive note, the sex offender has been warned not to see or contact any family members. Moreover, through the prison system, the man will undergo mandatory psychological treatment to suppress his vile sexual urges.
