Couple Agrees To Host Man In Need - Become Unfortunate Victims Of Grisly Crime

A liberal couple who were gung-ho about opening borders and supporting refugees decided to put their money where their mouths were. They took in a refugee, fed him, housed him and even got him a job. A few weeks after they took him in, the man viciously bludgeoned the couple to death with a hammer.

Faouzi A., an asylum seeker from Tunisia, was taken in by German couple Ali T., 37, and Hadia B., 32. They put a roof over his head and food on the table. Ali got Faouzi a job with his construction crew as well so that he could get on his own two feet.

The 37-year-old immigrant wasn't very grateful for the kindness and hospitality, however. He got into an argument with the couple when Ali paid him $815. By Faouzi's calculations, it should have been $1087 and he wasn't going to let it go. He demanded it, thinking the couple 'owed' him, and the argument got heated.

During the argument, one of the hosts pointed out that Faouzi was acting like an 'animal'. The refugee picked up a hammer and beat the couple to death. He then dismembered their bodies with a saw and stuffed their body parts into suitcases. He transported the suitcases by bus to the lake and disposed of them in the water. He then went back home and stole some of their stuff.

Faouzi initially blamed two other men for the murders, and the falsely accused men spent months in prison. An investigation pointed back at Faouzi, however, and he was arrested and charged with the murders. Eventually, in court, he confessed.

Many think refugees and asylum seekers should be treated with compassion and kindness, and they should; however, it's important to have compassion for the people already living in the country where the refugees want to live. Proper vetting and documentation might not eliminate all problems, but it will certainly help reduce them.
