Melania Trump Is Very Worried About Her Status Now That Republicans Are Being Shunned

First Lady Melania Trump is reportedly very worried about being blackballed in light of how her husband's policies are enraging people across the country. Ever since President Donald Trump instituted a policy last month that would separate undocumented immigrants from their children, reports have been pouring in of prominent members of the GOP being refused service in restaurants, photos with celebrities, and more.

Hollywood Life reports that Melania is worried about becoming a target, and her slipping approval numbers.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders recently took a hit when she was dining out with her family in a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia. The owner said the restaurant staff took a vote on whether or not to serve the president's aide, and they decided to turn her away on 'Moral Grounds'.

“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left," Sanders tweeted the next day. "Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristjen Nielsen and her family were also turned away when they attempted to eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Nielsen also has had her house surrounded by protesters over Trump's policy.

Stephen Miller, a Trump advisor who reportedly worked on the unpopular immigration policy, was also chased out of a Mexican restaurant.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and his children attempted to get a photo taken by actor Seth Rogan, but Rogan turned the senator's family down. He also gave Ryan a piece of his mind.

"I hate what you’re doing to the country at this moment, and I’m counting the days till you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have," Rogan says he told Ryan.

Hollywood Life says they talked to an inside source who claims the FLOTUS is very upset with the incoming reports.

“Melania was horrified at the way Sarah was treated by the restaurant, she can only imagine how awkward and embarrassing it must have been for her —something like that happening is Melania’s absolute worst nightmare,” the anonymous source said.

Melania got attention this weekend when she visited a detention center for children at the border. She wore a green jacket with large, white lettering on the back that read, 'I Really Don’t Care, Do U'?

While the First Lady's spokesperson says it was 'just a jacket', many couldn't help but wonder if Melania was trying to send a powerful message to her husband. It doesn't look like she appreciates being used as his prop for publicity stunts anymore.

Melania's approval ratings had topped out at 57 percent last month, far higher than her husband's ratings have ever been. Now, with the latest controversy, her numbers have taken a nosedive. Within a week of Trump's new immigration policy, the First Lady's approval rating dropped to 51 percent.

It looks like the former model is worried not only about her public image while she’s in the White House, but what her husband’s unpopularity will mean for her when they leave it.
