Judge Jeanine Pirro Is Furious Over How Whoopi Goldberg Treated Her On 'The View'

Fox political commentary host, Judge Jeanine Pirro, appeared on ABC's 'The View' on Thursday and faced off against the largely liberal panel of hosts. Whoopi Goldberg expressed some serious hostility towards the conservative ex-judge, but Pirro says things got even worse when the cameras stopped rolling. She tells fellow Fox host Sean Hannity on his radio show that Goldberg treated her like a 'dog' and blasted her with obscenities behind the scenes.

'The View' is a show that was created by Barbara Walters in 1997, and was supposed to feature a panel of female co-hosts from different races, backgrounds, generations and political leanings. Despite the fact that the show always ensures a token conservative is on the panel, it is typical for conservative perspectives to be blasted by the majority of liberal hosts, and the show caters to a largely liberal audience.

Thursday, Goldberg, in the seat of the moderator, lost her cool when the panel was joined by Pirro for an interview. Pirro was apparently frustrated even before the show because at the last minute she discovered that she was being interviewed by a guest host, Ana Navarro, a CNN contributor who has been extremely anti-Trump.

A source told Page Six that Pirro was upset over the last minute change-up in hosts and requested Navarro be left out of the segment. "Ana is 24-7 anti-Trump. Jeanine wasn’t yelling, but you could tell they felt like the segment was being hijacked by shoving in an anti-Fox, anti-Trump person," the source explained.

It was Pirro and Goldberg, however, who had a heated on-air exchange over comments Goldberg made about President Donald Trump.

The 'Justice with Judge Jeanine' came to discuss her book, but was berated with questions about what the majority of the panel perceived to be the failures of President Trump. Pirro claimed Goldberg had 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'.

Goldberg became furious and began ranting about Trump, claiming, "I have never seen anybody whip up such hate.”

Pirro complained about Goldberg’s opening statement, in which she called Trump's treatment of minorities 'horrible'.

“You know what’s horrible? When people who shouldn’t be here end up murdering the children of American citizens!” Pirro said.

"What is horrible is when the president of the United States whips up people to beat the hell out of people … Say goodbye. I’m done!”

After the exchange, Goldberg apologized to the audience. “You saw me do something I very rarely do … I very rarely lose my cool and I’m not proud of it. I don’t like it. But I also don’t like being accused of being hysterical because that is one of the things I try not to be on this show.”

Pirro said later to Hannity that things got worse backstage.

“When I went off the stage, Sean, I’m walking downstairs and I said something like, ‘Whoopi I fought for victims my whole life,’ and she came at me as I was leaving and she said ‘F you’ in my face — literally spitting at me, ‘F you, get the F out of this building,’” Pirro explained.

“And I said to her, ‘did you just say that?’ She said that’s what I said, ‘get the F out of this building’ and she was screaming at me and I’m walking out of the building like a dog who was just kicked off," she added.
