Barron Trump's Mother Calls Him 'Little Donald'- Here's Why

President Donald Trump has three sons, and his eldest child snatched up his father's name when he was born in 1977. Barron Trump, born in 2006, may have not been given the name 'Donald Trump Jr.' officially, but his mother Melania still calls him 'Little Donald'. This is because she says the 12-year-old is a lot like his father.

“He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy. He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants. Sometimes I call him ‘Little Donald,’” Melania Trump said in an interview.

It's not surprising that the apple isn't falling far from the tree. Barron Trump, like his father, President Donald Trump, knows what it's like to grow up privileged. Mr. Trump was born into a wealthy family, as was Barron. Barron doesn't just have his own room at his family's gold-gilded home in Trump Towers in Manhattan; he has his own floor.

Donald Trump got his start when he borrowed a million dollars from his father. No doubt Mr. Trump could do the same for Barron.

Like his father, Barron gets to attend prestigious schools. Trump attended college preparatory schools in Queens, then the New York Military Academy private boarding school as a child. He went on to Fordham University, and eventually he attended the ivy league Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Barron, too, started in wealthy preparatory schools for New York elites: Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. The tuition is a whopping $40,000 per year.

Barron apparently shares a lot of hobbies with his father as well. His dad, a real estate mogul, liked to build lavish buildings. Barron, since the age of six, has loved building structures with blocks. He might be the next Trump real estate tycoon.

Barron also reportedly likes to play golf, according to the First Lady. She told Parenting Magazine before Trump was elected that the father and son were together a lot at their Florida golf course.

"We spend a lot of time in Mar-a-Lago,” she said. “There they play golf, spend time together, eat dinner together, and we enjoy family time. It is always a really special time.”

Some rumors about Barron are not so flattering. Apparently, he's mirroring his father in a way that he probably shouldn't, at least not until he is footing the bills himself.

Barron likes to boss people around. He's been doing it since he was a tiny tot. Anthony Senecal, former butler to the Trump family, says he remembers Barron telling him once, "Tony! Sit down! We need to talk!"

It blew his mind, the former butler says.

Like his father, Barron is also very concerned about appearances. His mother says he likes to wear suits. Not every single day, she adds, but he does like to be dressed up. Sweatpants, Melania reveals, are not his style.

President Trump is also a stickler for dressing neatly. Senecal told Inside Edition that the president absolutely hates looking sloppy, or being around people who look sloppy.

Barron is even already on a strict skin regime. He uses his mother’s moisturizer every night after his bath.

It’ll be interesting to see this young man growing up in the White House, and what he’ll be like in the future.
