After Kimberly Guilfoyle Leaves Fox News, Rumors Swirl About Sexual Misconduct

Fox News has been rocked with its share of scandals over sexual misconduct over the past few years. Several female employees have left the network, several filing lawsuits, after alleging that high-powered men, from show hosts to executives, have sexually harassed female employees or acted otherwise inappropriately. The latest person being accused of inappropriate conduct is political pundit Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Guilfoyle, an attorney who has made a name for herself as a political commentator on Fox News, recently announced she was leaving the network. The conservative, who is rumored to be dating Donald Trump Jr., said she was joining a pro-Trump super PAC to help Republicans on mid-term election campaigns.

The HuffPost reported that Guilfoyle's departure was not voluntary, however. According to their sources, the co-host of 'The Five' was asked to resign because of multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and otherwise inappropriate behavior.

According to the HuffPost's sources, Guilfoyle, who has worked at Fox since 2006, said had shown pictures she possessed of male genitalia to her colleagues, and discussed the owners of the body parts. She has also been accused of discussing sexual details inappropriately with her co-workers.

Guilfoyle has also reportedly been abusive towards the hair and make-up artists, and sometimes even used them for her personal outings. Support staff also allegedly said she was abusive toward them.

The sources say that Guilfoyle has been the subject of a human resources investigation since last year, and that she has been warned about her behavior on several occasions. The network ordered her to leave, preferring she resign to avoid drama.

Fox News won't comment about any accusations or investigations against Guilfoyle. “FOX News has parted ways with Kimberly Guilfoyle," the network said in a statement.

Guilfoyle’s attorney, John Singer, put out a statement denying the allegations and brushing them off as nothing more than rumors.

“Any accusations of Kimberly engaging in inappropriate work-place conduct are unequivocally baseless and have been viciously made by disgruntled and self-interested employees," the statement read.

"During her lengthy and decorated tenure with the company, Kimberly was beloved, well-respected, and supportive of anyone she ever met. It’s utterly preposterous that there are those who are nefariously and greedily twisting innocent conversations amongst close friends into much more than what it actually was for financial gain. Kimberly has happily moved onto the next chapter of her life and hopes others will do the same.”

In 2016 it was rumored that Guilfoyle was one of the people being considered for the job of President Donald Trump's Press Secretary. At the time it was hinted that she turned the job down because she had a contract with Fox, and the single mother felt her network job would be better for her son. She did express interest in working with the president, however.

"I'm a patriot, and it would be an honor to serve the country," Guilfoyle said of the position. "I think it'd be a fascinating job, it's a challenging job, and you need someone really determined and focused, a great communicator in there with deep knowledge to be able to handle that position."
