They Wanted This Bull To Be Huge - You Won't Believe Your Eyes (Video)

Some people think they can do better than God and like to add on to his designs. One of these people is Professor Hanset who created the enormously muscular Belgian blue cattle through genetic modification.

According to Little Things, Hanset of the Al Center in the Province of Liege in Belgium created the crossbred cattle in the mid-1900s. The Belgian blue cattle is a breed known for its giant muscles, caused by a muscular hypertrophy that occurs with genetic modification. The modification causes muscles to grow faster and later, which is known as double muscling.

The reason why they do this is because the modified cattle have a “higher meat yield, a higher proportion of expensive cuts of meat, and lean and very tender meat,” according to the Australian Journal of Agricultural Research.

The practice is actually controversial because many of the Belgian blue cattle die prematurely. The breed is new to the U.S.
