Friend Captures An Amazing Photo As A Woman Spreads Her Dog's Ashes

A dog owner was devastated by the death of her 12-year-old Golden Retriever. She decided to spread the dog's ashes at the dog park where the two used to play. A friend snapped a photo, and the dog owner couldn't believe what she saw.

The dog, named Wagner, loved to run and play with owner Ashley Lang. Photos of the two of them when Wagner is alive shows their loving bond, and what a happy pup Wagner was.

When Lang went back to the park to spread Wagner's ashes, she asked a friend to snap a picture. She threw the ashes in the air and didn't think much of it until she saw the photo.

The photo shows the white, ghostly shape of what is unmistakably a dog. Wagner's ashes took the form just as the picture was snapped. The tail was even up, seemingly wagging, just as Wagner’s so often did when the two played there.

Some might say it was a coincidence. Lang thinks Wagner came to his own funeral to say goodbye.

“It’s pretty remarkable…the tail and the legs and he looks like he’s, you know, leaping to go up,” Lang said to CBS Chicago. “Everyone keeps calling him the angel dog.”
