Dog Bites Owner After She Said She’s Getting Rid Of Him, Refuses To Let Go - She Realizes What He’s Doing

A mom was spending the day at home pampering herself when her husband and children went out. She was shocked when the family dog started acting funny, even aggressive. As it turned out, the dog was trying to save her life.

Nola Davis was home alone and got into the bath when her dog Patches rushed into the bathroom. Nola noted this odd behavior, because Patches hates baths and would usually not come near the bathroom. He refused to leave, and even bit Nola's wrist.

Nola realized Patches wasn't trying to actually hurt her - he was trying to pull her. She got out of the tub and opened the door to discover the house was on fire. Patches took Nola by the wrist and led her through the burning building and out the front door.

Nola noticed the car was very close to the house, and wanted to run back in and retrieve her keys to move it. Patches jumped in again, and refused to let her through. That's when the house exploded.

The amazing thing is, Nola and her husband, Richard, had recently decided to give Patches away. Despite the fact that their children loved the dog, he got way bigger than they ever expected him to get and they felt they didn't have the room for him.

Of course, they ended up keeping Patches. Patches also was awarded the red cross award for his heroism. The family got a new home, this one big enough for the hero pooch.
